Is there a fear of disruption to business progress due to responsibility owed to aboriginal and disposed peoples?

OSH -ite a downer!

Those that believed themselves up didn't see this descend upon them ... perhaps ignored and denied the details! You know wee things ...

For instance in some ministerial eye's I am belittled because of lack of understanding ... I'm sure the Premier minister in NB myst me ... thus I yam dampened ... as a wave ... a flat form ...

Thank you Blackbelt for reminding us once again of how Trump supporters hear the news. It is so heartening to heaar that Trump's forces are only deporting hardened criminals who have been tried and convicted of serious crimes and not the farm worker who has been picking tomatoes on the same farm for fifteen years, or the college graduate who was brought into the country as a baby and didn't even know that she wasn't a citizen. I guess those types of reports I've been hearing are those terrible left-wing liars. :(

it clearly shows that the country is so divided that even the media is divided , the media has become left wing propaganda machines in a country that suppose to stand for freedom and democracy .

From where I stand, I see a fair bit of propaganda and fake news being generated for both sides. A dubious benefit of being a centrist, I guess. For every MSNBC (left-leaning) there's a Fox (right leaning). Canada is a bit better but that's because of our tendency not to fly off to extremes. The Post leans right, but nearly as much as Fox, while the Star leans left (well, really, they lean however the Liberal Party is leaning because, damn, they almost come across as apologists for the Libs at times).

That said, no one has ever accused The Economist of being a left-wing publication (indeed, they lean right on most fiscal, and many political, issues). They are unapologetic about their support for capitalism and Western-style democracy. They are centre-right for the most part. And even with that slant, they are hammering Trump and hammering him hard. Ditto The Guardian. It isn't just about whether he is "too right-wing" or not. It is competence. When you have the occupant of one of your most senior offices resigning less than a month after inauguration because he did something seriously stupid (Flynn last night), that is a good sign you made a bad call. And the close splits on some of the confirmation votes suggests that he's made some errors there, too, though only time will tell. I expect we will see some more heads roll as this administration moves along.

So, I don't think "left wing propaganda" is the sole issue here, though there is certainly some of that going on. It can't be when even publications that are traditionally centre to centre-right (The Economist, as mentioned) are involved. There really is a problem with this administration and I'm not sure it's going to solved without some more chaos (Bannon, for one, has to go. Probably Conway and Spicer, too). There are some really good, capable GOP people who could be occupying some of these offices (e.g. Condie Rice for NSA or Secretary of State) and Trump keeps passing them over for ideological boobs like Flynn (and, in Rice's case, I would suggest that her being Black and female probably plays into it given Bannon's presence).

In a world of lies and crete'ns that could evolve to be as a redaction ... could it ... or just more Taurus to form Tz vs BS?

is America headed for Anarchy ?

Oh the irony.

Is this what passes for intelligent news commentary on the "right"? Thank you for your prognosis, Dr. Propaganda.

Being a genius isn't a reassurance. There have been a few leaders who were geniuses, who didn't do good things.

You 've got to admit life in the "real" crowd is sure odd!

One would hope "intelligent" and "moral" would go hand in hand but that ain't how the world works. Though part of that is differing ideas on what is "moral".

One needs room for the human RIFTs ... the crack to escape this insanity? Then there are those that say Jack the Ripper didn't exist ... but the devil does Eris at times ... causing many questions about virtue and goodness!

Go back and research the apropos ... and the use of scissors way before the time of developed edges ...

and there were many who did great things , that point is mute

A few?!

I don't usually get caught up in this type of argument. From the first paragraph it was easy to see how biased it is.
But I had time, so I read through it.
I happened to have my Bible within arm's reach without getting up, so I decided to check a Bible reference.
The writer claims that Exodus 21: 22 and 23 say that if two men are fighting and a pregnant woman is injured and aborts, then the one responsible shall be put to death, a life for a life.

I read in RSV Ex. 21: 22 - if two people are fighting and a pregnant woman is injured so that there is a miscarriage, and yet no further harm follows, the one responsible shall be fined what the woman's husband demands, paying as much as the judges determine.
So, if the woman simply loses the baby but is not seriously harmed herself, it's the husband who determines what that baby might have been worth to him. First baby, and he hopes for a son, he might demand a lot. Tenth baby, and developed enough to be identified as a girl - heck, just give me a sheep in repayment and let's be friends.

But apparently if the woman also dies, or suffers grevious injury according to vs. 22, the husband has suffered further loss and may demand the death penalty. A life for a life.

By the way, this follows a paragraph (VS 20) that says that if a slaveowner whips a slave so severely that he dies the following day, there is no punishment for the slave is the owner's property.

Pretty poor argument against abortion if you ask me.
Hi Seeler-- What about all the other chapters there . The last one for me seemed one off the most important .Only God can make life .Wouldn't you say only He has a right to take it.

no kidding

Isn't mute, silent as a point sometimes is with a penetrating thought? O yas ... in staid activity no thoughts allowed ... do it the same ole way ... the Arabic ð-inn ... a dark jinn in transposition ... few entertain shifts ... out in the desert, few notice ... and the shadows wander without doubt ...

I really didn't know where to put this (R&F somwhere, or the fake news thread?). It didn't seem to warrant its own thread, as there are several Trump threads already.

Apparently, witches around the world cast a spell on DT tonight/ last night, depending on your time zone I guess. And Christians urged prayer to combat the 'evil' witchcraft. LOL. What a mad, mad world...what a time. Never a dull moment.

(At this point I'm interested to see if it works, anyway;):D)

And I've been told I'm insane for not conforming to a crazy world ... w'at d'eLLe and Y?

JUst for the pain of learning ...
