More and more Americans are becoming extremely agitated and angry with Trumps ban on immigrants....huge backlash to his signing this executive order, not only within America but the world,.... as people are turned back at the airports.Numerous demonstrations occurring.
Those being turned back are being encouraged to challenge this order on a legality based on it being unconstitutional according to the 1st amendment. They will claim it discriminates against Muslims. Trump says it is not against Muslims, otherwise they would have included all Muslim nations. It is very rare to have an executive order overturned....stay tuned.

And on our side of the border....5 shot to death in a Quebec City mosque....which will only fuel the fire for Trump to use our country as an example of terrorism because of our "open doors".

Not voraciously, no. I don't think that's wise. He has unfathomable power - I'd go with polite suggestions first, and give him all the credit for any good ideas he implements. We have nothing to lose except everything. Can we be forgiving enough to forgive his trespasses and loving enough to love even him, and wise enough to overcome anger and think this through? He got elected because people could not bring themselves to forgive Hillary. I read an article about a woman who took a sign to the Women's March reminding people that 53% of white women voted for Trump. She was not well received for her honesty. The whole world is in this together. Now we are faced with the choice to forgive him - but all he really wants is attention. That's who he is and how he rolls. What if he got it for good reasons?

The hell with that. Resist.

He wants approval. He wants adoration. Don't give it to him. Give him the least comfortable presidency in history. Make him doubt his advisors.

No Neville Chamberlain repeat. Trump and his cronies need to be repudiated at every sickening turn. He hasn't made one positive move yet. Even the jobs he claims to have saved were on the backs of the poor by throwing tax exemptions around and weakening social services. Everything he touches gets worse.

Americans have to make Republicans fear for the future of their party. They have to make them freak out over the looming midterm elections.

Trump wanted to "Make America Great Again." The best that can happen is he gets his wish by mobilizing people in ways that haven't happened in generations. For causes that those generations didn't understand.

Now is neither the time to be polite or forgiving, his actions are quickly making both America and the world a very scary place. He needs to be called out and given no concession.

"To reiterate, the Joint Chiefs of Staff have been removed from the National Security Council and replaced with a white nationalist. Worry."

Maybe now is exactly the time to be forgiving. Would you be forgiving if the world depended on it? The SC, if it can be de-staffed, can be restaffed. Trump is not partial to anyone's values he is partial to the attention he gets for better or worse. I try to be true to my values. The world is missing a whole lot of forgiveness. We all have a bit of narcissus in us - trump is showing us our reflection, full blown - and we are being tested right now. When faced with a bear that can't help it's own nature - do you piss it off?

I disagree. Pissing off the bear might put the world in harm's way in a way that Hitler did not have the power to do. That was then. This is now. Hitler was around when psychology and neurology were less understood. You're a proponent of science, and here I am asking you to curb your emotional reactions and look at it rationally this time. That is not the same as 'not resisting' - it is looking at another way of doing things.

I have spent so much time with anxiety about the world, for the state of the world - for which I was sometimes mocked and demeaned - I'm almost depleted of worry. But I'm calm like it's a crisis we have no choice but to get through. A few years ago I would've been all a jitter - even a few months ago. Before the election. But that's done. I'm all worried out. Time for solutions. Making Trump mad - how will that help, exactly, from what we've seen the last 10 days? This Trump situation is so weird it is surreal - but maybe 'fighting' is not the way to solve it. We can't solve problems by the same means they were created - some smart guy said something like that.

My mothering instincts tell me...encourage him to change course and to do things that help and let him be admired for it. Why not? That's better than deliberately pissing him off in my estimation.

You have greater faith than me, chansen, if you think spoiling for a fight with Trump will work. Faith in what, in your case, though? Not in God, or in science...in humanity?

Faith that even Republicans will do the right thing, having exhausted all other alternatives. Faith that popular demonstration works in sufficient numbers.

Appeasing the bastard is what he wants. You don't give a bully what he wants. You make him as uncomfortable as possible. You turn the tables on him.

I'm not happy with what's happening I just think there needs to be a different approach.

Quiet, subtle, undermining ... sort of like desire is when at initiated great ends ... or exploded ... after, called the fall to a point of mind ... spikes are driven ... discipleship of Gods metaphor ... one has to unravel IDi'M!

It'd just word ... very dependant on the context of how the axiom functions! Generally not that just, merciful, or humble ... the alternate understanding is usually below the horizon ... kind 'a abstract!

Remember E=I/R! Great resistance is a shocking flow to the republican down side ... test-la that eclectic sense of axil rods ... and we all take a turn ... remember the undercurrent ... it is always there like a reciprocated image ... con science? Perhaps just bum steered observation when beyond the desires ... out-there Ca-roué-sin in the dark pool of intellect that we don't know ... a dark and Shadowy zone ... twi light, or TYI as that question resting on your shoulder as onus ... relative of onan ... the power to withdraw and retreat so the physical sector can self destruct ... co ITe 's interruptus ... tis a break, rift or other schism ... or perhaps just a crack in the mire thing ... allows twin reflections ... mental chaos about the axis powers ...

Never tell the enemy anything that makes sense ... for they will never mull through the unknown ... strange things cause them lack of confidence and fear ... is Trump fearful, or is it just a front like a masque? How do cornered animals without thought respond> They don't they react ... tis natural ... thought is something else ... out-there!

Can make an individual feel awful alone without extensions fingers, toes and all that go into a hand and fete for thought that must be obscure ... or it'll be taken from you and abused ... the conflict of life as a learning example ...

If one does anything different and odd are they considered out of here like the dark form of aDonus? Even aDonut has hardshell and a space ... something to peer through ... like anOz Iris on the round about experience of life ...

This really shows what we're up against. The military is no longer represented on the National Security Council (and the fact that his secretaries of defence and homeland security are retired mil does not count), a body that will be advising Trump on things like the campaign against ISIS. Let that sink in a minute.

Sorry to disagree - but in what possible way did he do that. That's simply believing Trump's rhetoric, which is based on the assumption (which Trump - as an authoritarian - seems dangerously to share himself) that the President can do everything on his own. He can't. He needs approval from Congress for most of what he wants to do (if only because Congress votes to pay for it) and it's still Congress who passes legislation. That's 100 senators and 435 members of the House who are still there to be lobbied because their votes are essential to getting anything done. I suspect that historically - for this very reason - lobbying has always been directed mostly toward Congress and not the White House. Lobbying the White House is meaningless becaue it's Congress you have to have on board. Obama's eight years demonstrated that.

By way of executive orders , here is the news coverage on the 5 yr ban

I actually read the Executive Order on the White House website, rather than listening to propaganda from "President Trump News" on You Tube. The Executive Order only applies to former employees of Executive agencies and as far as I can see it only prohibits them from lobbying Executive agencies. It doesn't prevent them from lobbying Congress. In short - since I suspect - as I said - that most lobbying is directed to the 535 people who serve as Senators and Representatives rather than to the Executive - the Executive Order you cite does diddly squat. Nice bit of spin though. Another alternative fact!

You and @blackbelt1961 are backing the wrong horse with Trump, he alone has the ability to move the doomsday clock forward towards a world we would not want to see. The protests around the world are about this very scary reality that Trump is creating.

Neo, you could be be right, its still to be seen, I think your wrong though, but then again I might be wrong .

the main stream media shows all the protests , what the dont report on is all the marches for Trump, pro life march is an example, no coverage
