People who chose to reject God and His word and claim to be Christians shame themselves by using a name that was meant to be a follower and believer of Jesus Christ and His word ------A believer who has received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and has a personal relationship with Him -----

Anyone who has not received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and has not the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is belongs to the god of this world who is Satan ----anyone who doesn't want to believe that is deceiving themselves -----and all that is Scriptural -----

Satan is the accuser dedicated to making persons feel guilty. Jesus rejects the satanic accusations. By the Holy Spirit we are liberated for living service to creature and creation. One task is the overcoming of the devil - that which divides humanity from God.

It is difficult to see ourselves as we are. Brothers and sisters help us discover our errors. Not as judgement. As opportunity for growth to maturity in the way of God revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.

We are one in Christ whether you like it or not.

GeoFee -----If your saying that all people who are sinners and who have not received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are One in Christ ----you are in Fact stating False Doctrine and Wrongly Dividing the Word -----and giving people false hope -----and that is a Period +++++++

Show me one scripture that says sinners are one in Christ ------if that is the case then Jesus died and shed His Blood for nothing -----

Very much appreciate the brevity and clarity of this post. Beginning a quiet evening with Barbara, my companion. Will respond in a while.

@unsafe You do not know me well enough to judge me as you do. You are playing god now. Go along your self-righteous way now.

On the cross Jesus forgives those who murder him. All are forgiven, without exception. Those who repent of their sin are led forward by the Holy Spirit. Those who do not repent will reap as they sow. The whole while watched over by the gracious love of God, ready to welcome home the soul which turns from self-will to God’s will.

Every human being is made as the image of God. To be sure it is distorted and obscured by the many layers of difference we take for the truth of our being. Love overcomes the barriers of difference. As it is written: “Love can build a bridge between your heart and mine.” God seeks to unite us. Resist your adversary the devil (divider) and he will flee from you.

"Father forgive them, for they know not what they do."

Yes, this is an all-forgiving Jesus we see on the cross. The same one who told us we are to forgive each other seventy times seven.

Thanks for coming back to answer GeoFee ----but here is the thing -----I need a scripture from you to back up what you believe there GeoFee ------Give me the scripture that says all sinners are one with Christ ------all you have said in this statement you make above here has nothing to do with sinners being one with Christ --

What does one with Christ mean that is the Question

This Scripture tells us ------

Romans 6:5-7 (EXB)
5 Christ died, and we have been ·joined with [united with; grafted into] him ·by dying too [or by participating in his death; L in the likeness of his death]. So we will also be ·joined with [united with; grafted into] him by rising from the dead as he did.

6 We know that our old ·life [self; L person] died with Christ on the cross so that our ·sinful selves [or body controlled by sin; L body of sin] would have no power over us and we would not be slaves to sin.

7 Anyone who has died is ·made free [justified; declared righteous] from ·sin’s control [L sin].

unsafe says ----

So here we see GeoFee we have to die with Christ to be grafted into Him ---Then we are raised to a New Life Like Christ ---which is our Born Again experience which means our Old Sinful Nature there GeoFee has been removed and we are no longer Sinners we are Saints and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit ---Sin has no more power over us there GeoFee -----

-people who are not Born Again are still sinners and never can be ONE WITH CHRIST ---until they die with Christ and change their Nature ------- and we all have free will to choose to accept or reject the offer -------

So GeoFee I have given you a Scripture to back up my Claim ----Now ---you do the same ---Give me a Scripture that says Sinners are one in Christ -------Please and thank you -----

Galatians 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Isn't this supposed to be how you can tell if someone is the real deal? I'm waiting to actually see this as proof.

Accuser Accuser - Baker's Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology Online

Satan is styled the "accuser of the brethren" ( Revelation 12:10 . Compare Job 1:6 ; Zechariah 3:1 ), as seeking to uphold his influence among men by bringing false charges against Christians, with the view of weakening their influence and injuring the cause with which they are identified. He was regarded by the Jews as the accuser of men before God, laying to their charge the violations of the law of which they were guilty, and demanding their punishment. The same Greek word, rendered "accuser," is found in John 8:10 (but omitted in the Revised Version); Acts 23:30 Acts 23:35 ; 24:8 ; Acts 25:16 Acts 25:18 , in all of which places it is used of one who brings a charge against another.
