Which would just be a stupid idea. The vote is one of the only meaningful tools to fight dictatorship.

What do you think happens when the young people and minorities, those most affected by the policies and practices of those in power, don’t vote? They get whoever’s there, indefinitely. You know, in dictatorships like North Korea, citizens don’t even get a chance? Kim Jung-un’s family dynasty has been in power for generations. In Russia, a former KGB agent has been in power for nearly 20 years, switching back and forth between President and PM, because they have both, and extending term limits from 4 to six years. Legitimate opposition has been jailed or killed. These are the two men the POTUS is cosying up to...one of whom fuelled a sophisticated propaganda attack to undermine the US elections...and possibly help install someone who was a gullible “asset”, by getting him on the hook for tons of money, and a few embarrassing personal details. That’s how Russia rolls.

If people don’t vote in the midterms, Trump and the Repugs stay in. If people walk away... same thing. That would make Putin happy. And if you don’t like governments that limit freedom, those alternatives are not going to help anyone achieve freedom.
