Naturopaths are an even more mixed group than doctors in terms of abilities, experience, knowledge and wisdom. We consulted an awesome naturopath 33 years ago who has been retired for over 10 years, but have not been impressed by the few we have consulted since then. If they bring up homeopathy, run away quickly. If they criticize vaccines or offer substitutes for vaccines, run away. Rather than being part of a medical team/primary care network, they might have a role as outside resource for cases of some kinds of chronic illnesses where traditional medicine has failed to determine the underlying problem or even achieve any success in treating symptoms.

I believe governments should be funding research on non-patentable medications and procedures, carefully judged for fitness for study.

As for CAQ, they have already betrayed their prejudices by refusing to remove the crucifix from their legislature.
