How would we respond?

Like little wah-wah babies? That's the way many Tik-Tokkers are acting as Tik-Tok goes dark in America.

If Wondercafe went dark, how would you then spend your new found time?
 
Back to the books, tomes manuscripts and colossal wondering about ... "what is it?" A mire image covered up like a Platonic flat out expression without knowledge? In short we don't know because it is part of the great unseen ...

Even with dah light many can't see it ... maybe the transmutation! Things do altern because as Plato noted live can't be real because it doesn't last well ... yes it too alters!

Many deny alters even if they set them up in their places of knee bending ... to other folk that most probably lied to them for the advantage of position ... then the curiosity of shrinking violet ... the purple mystery! Mastery of getting it out if sight ... sophisticated arguments creating dah bates ... pha etching on the Wahl! Artificial Images ... AI ... there! All en a dais ... observances from in the shadow as I am often ignored and denied ... without reverent stages ...

Many words fit into Isaiah's words on Holy Gifts as floaters ... Wisdom and Knowledge are right up there on the list but denied by secular powers that prefer emotional states where people lose any sense ... spectacular eh?

Did you know that Isaiah was once a word for a light messenger ... possibly hoofing it? May convert into light brigades ... to flush out the shadow of doubt ...

Platonic ... it is obviously beyond us ... as darkness appears to prevail after the red of sunset! Alien powers get fired ... AL rests ... that's all that's left! Cuase those to the right say we just aren't ... it just can't be SO (OZ; Semitic). It's Iconic ... take note ... tend your fires! They could run off like Lucae ... diabolical if not enigmatic ... bat fish crazy ...

What mood is dark given the lack of the dash board lights on people doing crazy things for love and loss 'of thoughts? Thus the shadow hangs about ... an aura ... always ready to pounce on Jah ... Jahmus-on?

What can be assembled with a few word(s)! Panic ... because it is different and alien ... intelligence is thus foreign ... because of critters of vast love and consumption ... relics?
 
Plato on forms declared that life was something beyond what the secular power could comprehend ... thus we back-up or back off to see what is raised .. although that are up there consider these jacked R-cis ... black vessels no doubt! These can be overlooked by those feeling high ... perhaps a vast dose of that odd steroid dopamine or serotonin ... Sara will give M a whipping ... thus tuned!

What does M'N know? Obviously it is suggested that he shouldn't peer into the beyond essence ... a gas? Shee "Z" drift Era ... like time and Lady Luck!

Maybe Joanne of the R Kahn ... for all we know about what was lost in the passing ova ... Ah Gatha ... many refuse to gatha' ...

The gift of knowing which powers contend is bad for their advantages ... sophisticated? Most like Lei ... a LaLai ... or all flat out folly?

The expression is about something going up ... Allai? Into the dark ... heavy matter ... something to talk about in the great beyond ...

Psyche is out there like a dark hole ... because of the powers looking for physical virtue ... obscure levity?

This surrounding is blinding ... but altered when out of the brain ... only an essence ... light is similar to that! Kripa's captured by the krypt ... tear in time!

All is poorly understood in an emotional domain ... that's been my experience ... it is just how it goes! Thus mores to it than you can get to from here ...

Project about how one could get lost in all they don't know ... or just eliminated by those that didn't want you to know much. Is this to their advantage or yours?

Thus Black Body reflection theory ... nothing in the return? At least until the thing gets heated ...
 
Okay we'll see what happens.
But isn't it being banned because it is a Chinese invention that gives them access to people's lives as they grow from a teenager into adulthood and possibly beyond?
Also the chance to influence American thinking?
My understanding is China doesn't even allow Tic Tock in China?

They have social media in China but it is tightly controlled. Not necessarily directly by the government but by companies wanting to avoid trouble with the government and users putting pressure on each other to conform.

Anyhow, that's not what Jae is asking about and a thread on the subject in politics would be more appropriate (I think there is one).

To answer Jae's question, I would be busy for a while putting things to bed. I actually have a written plan for shutting the place down if it ever comes to that. After that? I am trying to cut down on my social media so hopefully get back to reading and writing.

That said, the software license is in my name right now so maybe I would spin up a new site of some form. Probably focused on my writing rather than another iteration of Wondercafe, though.
 
If Wondercafe went dark, I'm pretty sure I'd be okay, a few years ago I would have thought differently because I was really into exploring the scriptures and such. I still am, but it was more interesting with more involved.

What I'm trying to say here is if WC2 went dark and I was not given the opportunity to save it myself, I'd keep a light on for WC folks for as long as they were around, or I was kicking. I own the Crux domain name still. If the organization reaches out with an offer to fund a kid to Rainbow Camp, I'll give it to them, and maybe then I'd have to "spin up" WC3. But I know now that I can run a pretty nice site for less than $100/year. So I'd do that.

Agree. I would miss this place as well but it is much less interesting than it used to be. It also seems less active but this could be because I completely avoid threads about politics.

Also I have one or two very prolific posters on Ignore most of the time.

Something got ta move ... also related to vasal vagal syndrome and the brain stem injuries ... twisted head? That Deville woman ... out on the town ... head turner! Ongoing commentary ...

We could probably do a deal to transfer the WC2 license and domain and then you could spin up a new site under whatever name you wanted with the old domain pointed to it so people know it's the successor. I have wanted to do that with the old Wondercafe.ca domain but so far, the UCCan is hanging on to it.

Maintenance on Xenforo is $65 a year now but that's optional and I don't pay until I need to be in support to get an update. And they often do sales right before a price increase, allowing me to pay a couple years ahead at a lower rate. Domains are cheap if you use the right registrar.

We've not really done any promotion in years. That's not been our thing. I tried to promote at FB early on but maybe you've heard how that went.
