I posted that too - and got a very negative response. He is someone I know quite well and do some socialising with. We already knew we had different opinions on the events in Ottawa and elsewhere, so we agreed to continue to differ.
 
A nice retrospective on the recent unpleasantries, as Washington DC experiences a freedumb convoy" of their very own.

 
It was posted on YouTube by 'Just A Canadian;' the artist is listed as 'The All American Band.' A friend posed it on Facebook, that's where I found it.
 
I'm honestly torn between laughing at this, and being aware that "rubbing it in" and "I told you so", are possibly the two most subtle of relationship destroyers.
 
I can understand the creator of this wanting to be anonymous. There are many nasty people who would not like this video.

I doubt the gov't will remove them like before. That was a really unpopular move. The right one, in my opinion, but there'll be hell to pay if they do it again.
 
What confuses me about this is what "freedoms" we do not have in Canada? I am certainly, from a practical POV, much freer than an American. I can change jobs whenever I feel like without worrying about my health care. There are very few HOAs here in Canada, so I can guerilla garden, largely to my heart's content, as long as I keep a patch of weeds in the front yard cut fairly short. I'm free from large numbers of idiots carrying guns. I am not frightened for my life or possessions if I get stopped for a traffic violation. There are more than two viable political parties here, so I cannot assume that fully half of all politicians would like to break my union and pay me as close to slave wages as possible. I mean, we kept COVID restrictions up for a little longer than the U.S., but we also suffered from a MUCH lower death rate due to it, AND, there's no real restrictions now.

So, what freedoms are we denied that these people are looking for?

I know Canadians should generally be less terrified...that was quite a bizarre event

Hopefully this time the police can be allowed to do their job

With truckers perhaps their movements ... or not ... as I've stated before with so many lies everywhere it is hard to tell anything what so ever ... be still and observe ... a' science! If stilled too long ... you may get that Carob Bug Urge! Dung is on ... crabby eon ...
