What were you doing, consulting a psychic? I'm very sure that's against the rules. Also, to you Newfoundland may be an exotic place. To most of us, it's the lovely province where RevJohn lives, and where the best of east coast music comes from (in my opinion; I loves ya, Buddy Wassisname and the Other Fellas).

Maybe f or a rigid progressive like you. What rules prohibit card reading, something I've done only once in a fit of boredom at the flower show I only attended to satisfy my date.

From the card reader's perspective, what matters is what "remote" means to me--and her as a distant Bostonian.
Interesting how progressives will say anything to change the subject from actual evidence for a paranormal spiritual realm.

Boston once had dark connections to NFLD if you know the history and the past better than officials tell it! It was a alien network ... run mostly by business men doing their extractions and subtractions with little to add to the subjugated ...drip theory! It cannot be proven because of the squirming ... nothing is well established! Political eradication ... like the termination of innocents ... but who will carry out the future waste ... you chitz! Prodigal ... conclusions ... wasted ... may be the addictions to the great urge to get out ... so it goes!

(8) Evidence that the comatose NDE experiencer "sees" what is happening both in the hospital operation room and in distant rooms

(8a) Maria... suffered cardiac arrest while being operated on in a Seattle hospital (Harborview). During the arrest, she felt herself leave her body and found herself outside the building where she was able to see in great detail a tennis shoe on the ledge outside a third floor window. On regaining consciousness she related the incident to Kimberly Clark, a social worker a the hospital, who went up to the third floor and was able to verify the existence of the shoe and retrieve it for closer inspection. The details given of the appearance and location of the shoe were correct. Maria had been admitted to the hospital at night and had been on her back in bed or in the operating room ever since, and Clark verified that even if she had been outside the hospital in daylight, the shoe was not visible from ground level. In addition, some wear on the toe of the shoe which featured in Maria's description could be seen only from a position outside the window... Maria had indeed been outside her body during her NDE as claimed."
(Quoted with documentation from David Fontana, "Is There an Afterlife? A Comprehensive Survey of the Evidence," p. 388).

Many similar powerful examples of NDE verification can be provided.

I think the difference here is that no-one actively disputes the existence of NDEs and ADCs. We may ascribe different sources to these phenomena. Like the natural reaction of the human brain to trauma/death.

That wouldn't even begin to explain the diversity and otherwise inexplicable nature of the corroborating paranormal evidence, especially my next case in which a person born blind is able to see with the spirit body's senses and accurately see what is happening at a distance outside the hospital room.
So stay tuned.

Mystic, what have you got invested in this? I don't believe in this stuff, nor does it prove anything about Godde to me. I agree that stuff happens that we can't understand.

And if you ever try to justify your comments of years ago to chansen using this crap, then totally and forever, f*** you. That was your unforgiveable, and I'm not God, thankfully.

Since you asked, on other sites, the evidence of such NDEs has helped convince a few skeptics that a spiritual afterlife is credible. One. a top executive at the Federal HUD Department even invited me up to his summer cottage in Fort Erie, when I was still living in Buffalo. Generally, the reaction has been far more positive on other sites than expressed here. But the viewership of this thread is now well over 1,000 and there are many lurkers.
Imo, the reality of a spiritual afterlife makes the best sense of all the relevant evidence presented here. My goal is to help readers find a richer and more meaningful life through exposure to the meaning of life implied by all the ADC and NDE evidence. If you don't like it, you can always put me on Ignore, as you keep threatening to do.

Such events cause some Christian types an urge to escape life ... even though they complain that lesser people are not allowed to go there ... and some darker spirits blink their large lashes at those appearing green (alas sickening to the command about strangers). Dense and dull Christians battle there way through such clouded visions ... and the house splits leading to collapse ... its in the books as a matter of no balance! Deficiencies of carrying ... thus the R's drop fecundity ... fertile crap that tells us more about brutes than they can imagine ... unreal numbers proliferate ... blossoming understanding is thus gone astray ... set up a MS Information! It must be cracked ... there may be a sacred, hidden message ... Illusian? Some lust this state or being stunned --- Daedalus (all part and parcel of the metaphor)! Created because the men of God declared we didn't with to know while the Gods of M'N reacted ... thus we all sin que ... and many didn't note ide ...

Ide was a prior item ... a pre quasit ... its to beh oled ...

@Mendalla could you explain how the number of views is collected?

Is the number of views different from the number of unique visitors to a thread? We talked about this a few years ago but we are using different software now.

What I would like to know is how you line this up with your biblical leanings.
How does coming back from the dead line up with what you believe from Jesus teachings?

It just counts a view every time someone looks at the thread. So every time I have come in, it counts a view. And it includes both logged in members and guests, so there's no way for it to tell who a given view is. A thousand is pretty good for a thread on a site this size, but we have no way of knowing how many people that translates to. We know most of the logged in members who have posted in the the thread have been in multiple times, which may not leave much for the anonymous guests and lurkers.

And no, we aren't using different software. Just a newer version of what we've always used.

Its all corrupted n limited ... you know mortal? A biblical character dealt with Mort ... iM*ere? A swimmer ... batfish high! Alba 'Ð rusted? Core Rhode did ... wasted away leaving a void ... all in yea're head ...

Thus changed and corrupted versions of the same 'ole thing? When will we Eva learn ... as they say down east ... know yere Cars ... they carrei on ...

Karst????

(8b) More Evidence that the comatose NDE experiencer "sees" what is happening in distant places

"Research suggests blind people who lose their sight before the age of 5 usually don’t see images in their dreams."
""Two of the case studies of those born blind, those of Vicki Umipeg and Brad Barrows, contain accounts of particularly clear vision of both earthly and "paradise" conditions during the NDE. The details given of the earth conditions are seemingly accurate... [brad] describes the snow he saw when his consciousness was apparently out of his body and above the street during the NDE as "very soft" and goes on to say:
"It had been covered with sleet or freezing rain... The streets had been ploughed and you could see the banks [of snow] on both sides of the streets.
I knew they were there. I could see them (David Fontana, pp. 391-392)."

@Waterfall: "What I would like to know is how you line this up with your biblical leanings.
How does coming back from the dead line up with what you believe from Jesus teachings?"

People who have NDEs often have life-transforming Past Life Reviews, during which they not only re-experience the entirety of their lives, but also experience the emotions of everyone they impact, sometimes including the consequent behavior of those impacted towards others! This Past Life Review is often a painful educational experience equivalent to Jesus' teaching about the Last Judgment:

e. g. " I tell you, on the Day of Judgment you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter (Matthew 12:36)."

Beyond that, I refer you to the biblical background of NDEs outlined in the thread's OP.

Mendalla: "an afterlife does not satisfy the call for justice in my mind. If we have to wait until we and our oppressors die for justice to happen, there is ultimately no justice."

A common feature of NDEs is the Past Life Review. From a perspective outside time, the NDEers experience their entire life. including the negative emotions of others caused by their words and deeds, and often even how these negative emotions adversely affect the other people that interact with them after these words and deeds. Sounds like part of a postmortem system of justice far superior to our own. An all-power God is more than capable of implementing a postmortem system of jusice:

"With the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you dish out to others will be dished out back to you (Matthew 7:2)."

There assign that come around to what you've turned around to condemn others in such grievous ways! I bet you can't see it that way ... that's the steamy side of energy in prodigal form ... wasted without a virtue 've myth! You believe excessively in the physical powers! Psyche is so subtle and like nemesis! Neigh MS's?

Maybe ephemeral and resembling a light wind ... "RA"!
