(8b) More Evidence that the comatose NDE experiencer "sees" what is happening in distant places
"
Research suggests blind people who lose their sight before the age of 5 usually don’t see images in their dreams."
""Two of the case studies of those born blind, those of Vicki Umipeg and Brad Barrows, contain accounts of particularly clear vision of both earthly and "paradise" conditions during the NDE. The details given of the earth conditions are seemingly accurate... [brad] describes the snow he saw when his consciousness was apparently out of his body and above the street during the NDE as "very soft" and goes on to say:
"It had been covered with sleet or freezing rain... The streets had been ploughed and you could see the banks [of snow] on both sides of the streets.
I knew they were there. I could see them (David Fontana, pp. 391-392)."
@Waterfall: "What I would like to know is how you line this up with your biblical leanings.
How does coming back from the dead line up with what you believe from Jesus teachings?"
People who have NDEs often have life-transforming Past Life Reviews, during which they not only re-experience the entirety of their lives, but also experience the emotions of everyone they impact, sometimes including the consequent behavior of those impacted towards others! This Past Life Review is often a painful educational experience equivalent to Jesus' teaching about the Last Judgment:
e. g. " I tell you, on the Day of Judgment you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter (Matthew 12:36)."
Beyond that, I refer you to the biblical background of NDEs outlined in the thread's OP.
