Was there ever a list of affected stores anywhere? Our main Western grocery is a No Frills and we weren't sure if it was going to be affected. There's also a Loblaws and a Food Basics in reasonable range so we wouldn't have been stuck or anything, just inconvenienced.Love your gnomes, Mrs. A.!

Baking bread seems like the right thing to do on a wintery day.
Squash soup and biscuits for supper tonight.
We made a big batch of butternut squash soup with apples and carrots two weeks ago. Froze some of it....love it!Finished off my last loaf of bread. The last two bakes were heavy breads so making Italian style bread today. Might have French toast for breakfast tomorrow. Baking bread seems like the right thing to do on a wintery day. Squash soup and biscuits for supper tonight. Even if we give away most of our squash, we should still be able to have squash soup a couple of times a month this winter. Had roasted squash and stuffed pork chops for supper last night. The larger squash on the ledge in front of our fireplace should make enough soup for a couple of meals. Most of our squash is in the cold room. I gave about 20# to the church on Sunday.
It's one of the easiest things to make!I'm going to have to learn how to make squash soup. I haven't so far because my husband isn't a fan of squash. But I am. So...I count too!
