RIP, Rex Murphy

I used to enjoy Rex Murphy's acerbic commentaries on The National and sometimes heard his work on Cross-Country Checkup. His later persona as a cranky old white dude raging against "wokeism" in his recent writing for the National Post, on the other hand, got tired real fast. Still, he was a notable figure in Canadian media for a good chunk of my life so it's rather sad to see him gone. Rex was 77 and apparently had cancer, but I have seen no further details.

I agree. I used to like Rex. He presented a view that was straight up. I hadn't been able to read or watch anything he created over the last few years.
