Who is “they”? The one’s that wanted to protect old people in nursing homes from dying?
You seem to forget the oodles of dead bodies in 2020, when this disease was the deadliest.
In NS in 2020, the most people died because of an outbreak in it’s largest nursing home.
Yes, it was difficult as well for people being sick in hospitals, with and without Covid.
But never forget, this was a new virus and we didn’t have a vaccine at that time. How would you have protected the population? Of course, Canada could have it just run it’s course and not give any rules at all- than, it would have been like in Brazil, where the president denied that Covid existed. Resulting in thousands of people dying- especially the elderly. They might have died in the arms of their elderly spouse- who they then gave it to and killed them, too.
Unusual situations require unusual measurements.

Interesting articles. I reduced my intake of Vitamin D in early September when I quit taking two calcium tablets a day. My struggles with nasal and sore throat issues increased after that. It pooks like I need to up my intake of vitamin D.

There seems to be little reliable evidence of the vaccines causing net harm to people.

Some of the spike proteins seem to have strong negative effects on the cardiovascular system. With a high rate of Covid infections it makes sense that cardiovascular deaths will increase.

Heard today that our son's family tested positive. Now we cross our fingers as we were in close contact recently. Neither of us needs to get Covid (or the flu - or a bad cold). Our LTC is on shut down because of the flu. This was declared 24 hours after they ended quarantine for Covid..

You are absolutely right about the tendency to divide people. And I tell you what is part of the problem:
Communication reduced to memes and slogans, supported by rapid spread through the internet.

I imagine a very lengthy and stressed thread ... thin as ... well you just can't compare it with anything physically real! A very fine entanglement???

There is little respect for greater stretches of word ... that might squeeze out some respect for the entire integral ... that's all! While many attempt to stand alone autonomous ... avariety of individualism in de socializing (avarice)?

Maybe this explains the chaos, all the crazyness during the pandemic (egmask wearers attacking maskless and vice versa), the crazyness now, the apparent rise in mental illness and drug addictions, maybe the global increase in deaths?
Anyone got any good reccommendations for good dealing with Trauma?

not everyone can get the vaccine.

a family member went through a very scary time as the nursing home she is in went into lockdown.
she ended up with covid.
she is vulnerable.
thankfully, she seems fine, other than the impact of a 10day isolation.
(edited: there was a death there related to covid, so not everyone was fine)

Someone I know shared a CBC article about the data and delays and how it is still a problem - deaths are still happening, well above influenza. Will see if I can pull that up.

I rarely look at the dashboard now as so much has changed. Sad as Alberta really used to be a leader for how information was being shared. I mostly stick to a different wastewater site - still a delay but even with just the wastewater the dashboard for some reason is delayed more.
