Just keep going....
I had a patient after breast reduction once- she was so happy, because she had been in constant back pain before.
I would agree to get Health and Safety involved if her clothing is a danger. Highschool boys being distracted by boobs wouldn’t really count as this. More like- loose clothing getting into machines.
I also would think that the teacher themselves would have an opinion on what the problem would be in the class.

The ethics & discrimination aspects of this situation are plentiful. How big of a breast is too big? Who are we to judge this? How would we judge it? How do we deal with those who are in some people's opinion 'over-endowed'? What is the issue with seeing evidence of a nipple? Do we really think this damages kids? Too distracting for the hapless students? Really?? Are huge boobs okay if 'natural' but not prosthetic? The circulating photos of this teacher are for sure out of the ordinary compared to what most of us are accustomed to. And so what? How does implementing a 'dress code' as the parents request/demand really solve anything? What would that dress code even dictate & how would one enforce it? So many issues - and not a few of them would be legal ones in today's world.

Decades ago there was a teacher in our local high school who was a very flamboyant dresser, and yes, gay. His colourful suits, ties, shirts & shoes were legendary as were the wigs he regularly wore to match each of his many colour palettes. Kids and parents grew to love this guy. He was an amazing teacher at a time when many gay folks were still in the closet and I think he contributed to many changed attitudes. Yet I don't think there were any bomb threats to the school, although no doubt some people were uncomfortable.

I agree, and I wouldnt be surprised if some lawyer tries to convince Kayla she has a legal case.

Concern here though is safety. When suervising the students with power tools teachers should be prepared to demonstrate plus step in if anything is unsafe.
If the teacher you mean was teaching shop ties, unbuttoned jacket, long non tied back wigs would be problematic
Sometimes in the lab we might have pushed the safety rules at times, depending a bit on the specific lab,, but not when working as a TA. With the eng students especially I had to be prepared to jump in.

A bust can cause the oddest things to break out in a mortal causing fracture ... and all this apart from virtue ... expected reality? Some one, somewhere will find fault with summer things ... stripped down versions according to the season (mentioned in Ecclesiastic fashion). May leave some breath less ... gasp? Z bombs ...

Search for the Levite ... and they'll turn it into plae in stuff ... the myth of ordinary has exceptional data ... outliers?

Not well understood as very deep ... sometimes in arid place ... as unstrung from another thread ... vast fabrication as a tapestry of Earth?

I appreciate concerns for safety in all workplaces - including the rights of LGBTQ people to feel safe. And kids right to feel safe from bomb threats being delivered to their schools. I don't really think safety is the issue that's raising such divisive action in this situation tho.

This is a thoughtful article from today's Star - written by Rev. Dr. Brent Hawkes, now minister emeritus at Metropolian Community Church. Opinion | Repairing the conversation around transgender teacher can build lasting change

I do agree with that. Looking at my earlier most recent post, I should have put the word my at the beginning. If someone does come in for a safety audit that could a) fix some safety hazards that appear obvious to me b) might result in some clothing changes that are adding into the issue, uncertain as this wasn't what stood out to me for a. c) reduce some of the other concerns by those who are either actually connected to this class or are 1 degree away eg. parents due to seeing a form of oversight is occurring.

The bomb threats, I do agree but it happens often with schools. This school may be getting more than average. I wish there was a solution to them overall

Very wise article. I have often wondered how much hell Kayla must be going through as she continues to teach...have to give her alot of credit for staying the course, without much support.

I watch CBC News daily, often the background in our house.

I had not heard of this item. I give them credit for not covering it in the video sections. (It may have been in the ticker tape, but I don't always read it)
