Sooo ... a Category 3 remit to vote on. It amazes me that they still allot a YEAR for voting. Anyway ... you hopefully will hear about it from your own Church Councils etc.
But here's the info in case not. Establishing an Autonomous National Indigenous Organization It will be interesting to follow the discussions ...

Interesting. I'll be interested in how our brand new Board Chair approaches this. We have a small vacuum in our Right Relations work, in that our Right Relations Liaison is in her 80s and has had a bad year health wise, so we're trying to shift the mantle there and re-establish relationships with our Native Friendship Centre post-pandemic.

well Bette - at least you have a Right Relations Liason person - in theory at least. Probably ahead of many other churches in that regard.

Yes, to establish where we were, pre-pandemic, was the only congregation automatically invited to the yearly MMIW ceremony in the fall. But my city has a friendship centre - not all do.
