We all have the occasional inconvernient day. Last night I couldn't sleep. Short of breath, coughing etc.. Spent hours trying to get control of my 02 sateration. without much success.
Mid morning my portable concentrator turned itself off and refused to start again. Called the contact person who delivered a new unit at 1pm. No complaints about the service!
Was at the dentist's at 2.30 to get a new crown fitted and pay a fancy sum. Mouth is still frozen so supper might be a challenge,
Picked up the mail and saw that my needed neurology appt has been set for the end of March. It will be along wait methinks.

“Inconvenient” is probably the right word. Because it is all still manageable. Had to think along that line this morning under the shower. I have the feeling that my “cold” is potentially RSV. Feels in my lung that way. Very slowly to get rid of. But- I have the benefit of taking a paid week off sick leave, I woke in a heated home ( though I can’t really sleep that well right now) and all the time I had to think about people in Ukraine or anywhere else where they cannot rest and endure -20 degrees without heat….

I think there's a couple sides here.

On one hand, there is arguably always someone worse off, which puts our suffering in perspective.

On the other hand, our suffering does matter to us and those we love and should not be minimized too much. Put in perspective, but not minimized because it does impact our lives and maybe those around us.

I had a pretty good day today. Yesterday on the other hand... yeah. :cautious:

I get that @KayTheCurler .

I get frustrated some days re my bladder issues, but, I have come sooo far. Even at it's worst though, I knew that it was nothing compared to many illnesses or treatment consequences.
