To be clear, as a Green supporter, I liked the choice of Annamie Paul as leader and hope she comes through this okay. What worries me is that a fifth party with only two seats is letting internal squabbles distract from the work of building up the agenda and image of their new leader. With most of the country fully vaccinated this Fall, the reticence about calling an election on the part of both government and opposition is going to fade. The Greens need to be getting ready for that, not sacking a leader who hasn't even fought an election yet.

 
And, yes, if this goes badly, switching back to the NDP might be in cards. I hope that does not become necessary but I vote Green precisely because I am disenchanted with politics as usual in the big parties so the Greens behaving more like a traditional party removes some of their appeal.
 
Just reading up on the Green Fredricton MP crossing over to the Liberals. That’s disappointing for her voters, I think that many students in Fredricton had mobilized to get her elected. I thought that usually people leaving their party stay on as independents?

No, "crossing the floor" is a time-honored tradition in our Parliament. It's when a party boots someone out of caucus that they normally become independents.
 
The Liberals are being publicly called out for their walk not matching their talk. I suspect there is a growing number of people unwilling to trust Liberal promises. Paul did a good job of attacking Trudeau though traditionally the Greens try to avoid attacking others. I hope the attention she got might make voters in that riding more aware of her and see her as a way to chasten the Liberals.

Let us face the truth ... industrial militancy runs the governors ... and thus we are directed to race ahead as opportunists ... may indicate how pigs get to the trough ... much squealing and asserting ... and the ground beneath them is fouled ...

Is there a solution to such enigma? May explain why we're isolated in space ... a stinking low spot in the cosmos --- Kubler Ross Syndrome is a vast concept ... rectifying the darkness in the pit! Then construction and erection ... another world altogether ... thought is lost! Never considered until getting beyond it ... blind skewering?

The fools rush in where angels fear ... oops I forgot @BetteTheRed doesn't like songs from truth in the fields ... country musings! Maybe killing fields given the life of a slave was estimated at 5 years ... then are there greater fields? Dispositioned ...

And on it goes. I find it a bit odd that an interim party president is leading this charge, given that the "interim" implies they themselves are not permanent and that the next permanent president could be stuck dealing with the repercussions of this mess. With an election likely looming, turfing the leader is probably political suicide at this point. They could find themselves going into an election with an interim leader. Then again, they were up in a recent IPSOS poll so who knows?

 
Is there any polity that isn't messed up with extreme concepts of controlling what can't be controlled due to the mess?

Forms a basis of Serendipity and quintessence ... 5 points of a pyramid concept that is stoically driven in ... the great nailing of awareness! In Hebrew related linguistics that is Onyx ... and may be glossy!
 
I do not understand why Paul or s so hard core processor Israel when many other Canadian Jews oppose what the government is doing.

Could be the Judean Punch ... from sour grapes Thor about crushing opposition ... thus vines must be cultivated ... Jesus demonstrated and formed a reverse image in the dirt ... impressed castings? Return to the lesser case of Bottom's Line ... literary device about matter that is beyond ordinary ... caused to descend by social climbers ... in thin surroundings they lost it ... Celtic Thin Domains of Blarney? We struggle to prove nothing as a vacuous range of knowledge ... when there's nothing there ... not a scrap of evidence until some time passes ... then the fount of life swells ...

It is best if there was improved planning, but institutionalized belief denies it ... skewering continues as declared by those of the status quo ...

More to chew over ... whines may be self preservation as they ferment out of sight in the cellars ... may lead to addicted Romantics ... complaining about their alien passions ... no matter where you put it ... there's never absolute security! Virtual cognizance ... is that speaking of the hominid really doesn't know eternal matter ... nor antimatter as essence is denied!

This is an issue I wish we would stop working ourselves up over.

Regardless of our opinions, there's very few foreign policy decisions that are black and white enough to call a leadership review over.

I think that the Greens are shooting themselves in the foot (and there's a part of me thinks that Paul is right, and that racism is alive and well right here), and it may be the end of my participation. I'll go back to the NDP and work at trying to make them greener.

Yet every sign of chaos requires reaction and thus chaotic thoughts to counter chaos in desire that sees no calm passions in what's left to rest ... an observation of Frederic Nietzsche ... a much larger psyche than me ... a forerunner! Gives me a thread to run on ...
 
And on it goes. Now there is a movement to revoke Annamie Paul's party membership, which would presumably force her to step down as leader. And that could happen before party members get to vote on her leadership next week, circumventing any semblance of democratic process.


And we are likely just a few months, maybe even just weeks, from the writ dropping if the pundits are calling it correctly.

This could kill the existing Green Party of Canada. There are some sore losers in the backroom who are putting personal priorities ahead of the Interests of the party. I might have to go back to the NDP. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! I wonder who the idiots are.
 
I am feeling exactly the same way.

Kiss of death for the Green Party, I think.

I won't give the of Canada any more money, for sure.
 
Does the ultimate search for power cause crazies to erupt that have no responsibility for the intellectual fallout ... fallacy of logos?

This is a well distributed item of caring for all things ... causes holes in the system when great lots of what's there are denied and eliminated without care!

Much of this is unseen by those following blind emotions alone as ... a dark Aria?

Things beyond us communicate in strange manner ... this that slight hiss in the night sky! It wiggles along in the dark .... like a wrinkle in reality .... and abstract counter to those absolute that there is nothing Noo to learn ...

There are some enlightening books being released by leadership crazies that have considerable following in the erasure of knowledge ... it is how thoughts ghost ... eternally wandering out there when lost in the crevasses of strange organs ...

Is the brain a strange thing that we keep pumping up with improper steroidal matter? Children are getting emotional and uneducated at earlier ages due to lack in certain domains of education ... results in numinous swellings ... nebulous to say least about details!
 
I will never give another cent to the Green Party of Canada, and I have been a member for many years. And they have heard from me.

The Green Party of Ontario is still viable, as far as I'm concerned.

But federally, idiots.

Power, especially in the political hands seems to quickly degrade causing humbled ide ... and other derivations. Here it may start again ... whereas in some circles the powers never give up ... even if losers! Such thoughts leave my psyche afloat ... supporting the old myth that water is the basis of floating ides ... they may even resemble psyche complex, or mental strife! Strains my upper spaces ...

Can one be midline? No ... the extremes will shoot you down ... medium is not acceptable as only cats can walk fences, well ...
