Best part :giggle:

(actually, cuttlefish or the bodies of small squid are better eating than most cephalopod tentatcles).

If there is another dominant, sapient species, I doubt it will come from sea life as we know it. At some point, they will likely have to become amphibious. Not being able to function on land is too limiting.

Personally, though, given the current state of our knowledge of Fermi's Paradox, I suspect we are a one shot deal. It took the Earth over 3 billion years to produce sapient, self-aware species capable of tool-use and developing a sophisticated understanding of existence and all the ones we know of are from our genus (sorry, we don't have evidence of cephalopods having human-level self-awareness and reasoning ability as of yet). The odds of it happening again are looking pretty low given that we have no evidence of similar species anywhere else in the universe. If technological civilizations are commonplace, we would likely know by now. So tech-using species are either very rare to develop or tend to self-annihilate after a certain point in technological development. And, honestly, "both" might be the answer, meaning once a species blows itself to kingdom come, that planet never develops another one of that capability. Yes, it is a rather bleak view of existence, but all the more reason for us to get our act together.
They might form up the intermediate cover up of the brain ... arrachinoid tier? Could be toxic when disassembled ... dissociation theory! For water if works out to an expression to the 14th power of tense! Phtha said some old sage ... archaic as Egyptian hieros ... a dark and buried communication that appeared with Rosetta, a hard table!

Fair enough. What of corvidae?
Only if the develop some kind of fine manipulation. Our hands were as important to our development as our brains. That's why it was primates that evolved into us and not some kind of bird or quadruped. Cephalopods are actually a better option than birds since their tentacles make hands look primitive (and, really, are probably why they are so smart). Even the non-avian dinosaurs that some believe could have evolved into some kind of intelligent life absent a certain asteroid were bipedal theropods with well-developed front limbs.

GeoFee ---you said ------God is in control of everything on the earth?”

I say ----This word Control GeoFee refers to His sovereignty -----This is God's earth --He created it -----

GeoFee ----you said -----Is it God who starves millions of children around the world?

I say -----A big fat NO ---to your statement here ----We humans are guilty of that not God ----

You need to understand what Sovereign means GeoFee --as far as what part God plays in His universe

Biblical Definition and Context of "Sovereign"
There is absolutely nothing that happens in the universe that is outside of God’s influence and authority. As King of kings and Lord of lords, God has no limitations. Consider just a few of the claims the Bible makes about God:

  • God is above all things and before all things. He is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. He is immortal, and He is present everywhere so that everyone can know Him (Revelation 21:6).

  • God created all things and holds all things together, both in heaven and on earth, both visible and invisible (Colossians 1:16).

  • God knows all things past, present, and future. There is no limit to His knowledge, for God knows everything completely before it even happens (Romans 11:33).

  • God can do all things and accomplish all things. Nothing is too difficult for Him, and He orchestrates and determines everything that is going to happen in your life, in my life, in America, and throughout the world. Whatever He wants to do in the universe, He does, for nothing is impossible with Him (Jeremiah 32:17).
  • God is in control of all things and rules over all things. He has power and authority over nature, earthly kings, history, angels, and demons. Even Satan himself has to ask God’s permission before he can act (Psalm 103:19).
That’s what being sovereign means. It means being the ultimate source of all power, authority, and everything that exists. Only God can make those claims; therefore, it’s God’s sovereignty that makes Him superior to all other gods and makes Him, and Him alone, worthy of worship.

So yeah, God murders children.

And how does God do this without destroying our responsibility and free will?

BetteTheRed ---you said -----So yeah, God murders children.

Your ignorance of what God's Sovereignty is ----is showing here ------BetteTheRed ---it has nothing to do with us people who God gave the tasks of being good Stewards over His earth goes ---it has to do with God's will coming to pass on the earth that He alone Created -----

We have the freedom to choose in what we do in this live for ourselves ----that is we have a choice to choose what we decide to do and act on in this life ---and our decisions can either have a bad outcome or a good outcome in our life ---that is our freedom of choice -----But that is all we have ----- God had a plan in place for His Earth before He created it ------we have no control over God's plan for this earth ----God is in charge of His Plan for this earth --we have no say in it -----God is Sovereign over His Kingdom Earth -----if there is a change in the Climate --God is in charge of it Not us ----We are not Sovereign over this earth ---God is -----all we were given was the privilege of being stewards of God's earth ------We humans as John MacArthur points out cannot melt the polar ice caps ----nothing we can put in the air can destroy what God put in Place because He willed it to be there ---Only God can destroy what He created and put in place on this earth ------

We humans think we are all that ---that we can destroy what God put here in Place ---how arrogant of us is that ------This earth is here until God wants it gone ---Man did not cause the flood to destroy all wickedness of humankind ---God did because He is Sovereign over His Kingdom earth --only He could bring the Flood ------and this earth will again be destroyed and so will all wickedness be gone ----When God who is Sovereign decides it is time for His earth and wickedness and all He created to be replaced by a NEW Earth -----then and only then will this earth cease to be

Genesis 8:22 ----
English Standard Version
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

I say -----
We Humans can do nothing to make these cease ----green house gases cannot destroy this planet -----WE Human have littered the planet because we are bad Stewards and we have free will to make choices but that is where it ends for us ---

We Humans choose to kill children ---We Humans choose to litter the seas with plastic and fish nets killing the mammals of the seas ----We Humans choose to do evil deeds ---We Humans choose if we want to receive our Salvation or not ----We Humans choose to allow bad gases into the air ----etc -----but none of these choices will destroy God's earth ------

Only God is in control of what happens to this earth -------His Will --will be done

So why do we keep electing them?
It is the unelected that are in control ... the elected are just part of the 'theater'.

In an opinion piece published in The Globe and Mail, Klaus Schwab provided more details on the goals of The Great Reset (emphasis added):

COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying. There is good reason to worry: a sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But, while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable.

To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a “Great Reset” of capitalism.
