And it's shabby, rusty, dirty and full of sand and dog hair now, at 11 years (and it has a back door chronically full of water, lol). But it still starts every time I ask it to.

In 2020, organic pods are easily available online along with the mushroom suit. Organic pods cost $457 whereas the mushroom suit costs $1500. (Luke Perry's choice)I love the idea of body pods to feed a tree. I wanna turn into a tree...
That would be the socialist way.The CR-V is about the same size and has always been a four. Frankly, if I had move stuff like that, though, I'd borrow my neighbour's Ranger (Ford mid-sized pickup).
This seems counter intuitive to the moral of the 'big picture' to me.The 6 would hold re-sale value better,
Command start. Would it start if I asked it to?But it still starts every time I ask it to.

He keeps in touch in as much as he is inclined to do so ...What he does, when he's "on the move" is take cute selfies of him and his "ride". It's a clue.
All of my Hondas have been assembled in Ontario save my first CRV from before it became a crossover based on the Civic. Those early truck chassis CRVs were imports from Japan. The current ones are built alongside the Civic and some other Honda and Acura models in Alliston. Not a union shop, but definitely keeping Canadians gainfully employed and well-paid."union patriotism",
My neighbour would likely call it, "being a neighbour." He is an eighty+ year-old retired farmer and trenching contractor from Essex County and that's how rural people of that era treated each other. Nothing to do with any ideology. In fact, he sometimes has Conservative signs on his lawn during elections. That would be the socialist way.
I have no idea what the 'political persuasion' of our neighbors might be ... some are good neighbors and others report us for having organic debris too close to the street front. Most recently our immediate neighbors have gotten together and managed to fill our woodshed with seasoned and split wood for this winter... Plus chopped down some of our more dangerous trees (aspens here tend to rot at the top and are prone to snapping in wind rain and or snow). The new wood has also been split and stacked ready for next winter. Much co-operation and a bit of cash and other goods disbursed and all respective needs have been met. I could go on and on about the co-operation that goes on within this neighborhood. In terms of the 'state' these neighborly transactions would no doubt be considered as tax evasion or some such nonsense. My neighbour would likely call it, "being a neighbour."
Not really. No money is changing hands, which is where the government tends to get grumpy. The old farmer and I help each other out quite a bit. And I get on well with the couple on the other side but they have an adult son at home who does most of the work. He helps us with snow-clearing, though (they have a blower, we don't).In terms of the 'state' these neighborly transactions would no doubt be considered as tax evasion or some such nonsense.

Yes. Murder and communism too.Can we agree that the Biblical narratives point us towards a prosperous human being?
The Bible is a book of stories. One of the stories is about a sower who sowed good seed. Then along comes an adversary and sows bad seed among the good. Imagine a farmer sowing wheat and then nature bringing forward weeds. The farmer's task will be to separate the wheat from the weeds. The wheat will be used to feed his family. The weeds will be burned in a fire.
So it is with the Bible. Some have written verses, chapters and books with the intention of serving the good of humanity. As time moved forward others added verses, chapters and books. These generally to serve private interest. The text you cite may be considered as an example. How many have used such texts to justify the dominance of one group over an other?
Truth is like silver hidden in a lump of coarse materials. Tossing that lump into the fire will burn away the coarse materials and make present the silver. Some take the Bible as a literal truth. I do not. I take it as a metaphoric opportunity to discover insight and encouragement concerning the way of my life in this present world order.
That said, I appreciate your critical concern regarding the Bible. It helps me refine my own understanding by raising questions requiring careful thought.
