So, that's what some people think. What say you? Do you agree with these opinions (I realize many here may not)? If you don't agree, why do you feel some people perceive him in such a way?

Kamela being VP is proof of kayfabe at work
If more people could look at all us debates in that way, of all the mudslinging and sturm n drang...its is politics. Not Truth. It is part of the Game. Get elected. Get your side elected. So all those insults Obama and Hillary slung at each other during the presidential race, kayfabe. All those insults the AiC did to his opponents, kayfabe. And so on

Kamala doesnt mean her comments of Biden being racist and sexist. Right? So where does thst leave us?

(I do wish Wokists would actually go after and suceed in dealing with people with real power in USA as opposed to trying to go after and suceeding with people with little or no power, which is what is happening as this becomes institutionalized...)

It is sad when the choice in an election is between Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum. I would really love to see a serious independent or third party ticket get traction in the US this year but I don't see it happening. Kanye has largely crashed and burned and I have yet to see any third parties get attention.

It’s a two party system. Let’s hope that next election , when trump is either gone or finishing his second term and Biden is either gone or 81 that we get two younger more vital more acceptable candidates

The populace is basically binary ... thus separationary trends are the deuce ... and deuces are wild ... bifurcated!

that we get two younger more vital more acceptable candidates

Colour me puzzled. These are supposed to be the most qualified people to govern that an ostensibly first world country, once considered a superpower, can drum up. Given that this is what the system has produced thus far, I am curious as to what you think will change in order to produce "more acceptable" candidates.

Wishful thinking in my part. I agree. How is it possible in a country of 300 million people these are the two vying for the presidency

hoping that in four years something better happens.

Again, and I'm not trying to be argumentative, that "hope" sounds a lot like "thoughts and prayers". Something is going to have to force a change, and I'm not sure what that might be.

Despite their claims to exceptionalism (and I'd say of all countries of the world, Germany and Japan might be better able to claim that title), America has evolved into the country of "good enough" and "we can put a patch on that". Their very food is a metaphor for their culture: bland, missing the vitality of what it imitates (cheese is a good example), and doctored up with high fructose corn syrup.

Could define ends ethics ... deontological or the-ontological roue? Sight unseen ... thus ceded ... stinking ... like jute plants smell to high heavens ...

Dextrose is the prior problem as a chumera for glucose that feeds the brain essence ... dextrose feeds fat livers! Thus high life ... wth steroidal consequence ... fare moans? Expect some retention ...

Said "Were there not an Israel, the US would have to invent an Israel to protect our interests in the region."

Wow, I kind of forgot this existed. Guess it will become the active thread in Politics now, eh.

I feel satisfied

As far as real changes that affect normal people, the coming Biden presidency doesn't offer many things to be especially hopeful about.

But there was one item on the Democratic Party's platform this election season that especially conscious people sometimes point to which I absolutely could respect as a good reason to vote for Biden.

It reads as follows:

"Democrats will end support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen and help bring the war to an end. This war is responsible for the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, and it amplifies threats to the region and to our interests. Democrats believe that the United States should support diplomatic efforts—not block them."
Biden campaigned on ending the war. He should therefore be pushed on that issue constantly ...

Yemen - probably worse than even the most paranoid and far-fetched theory about the evil things powerful elites might be doing behind veils of government secrecy.

And they’re doing it right out in the open.

Untold hundreds of thousands already dead, with millions displaced and suffering due to blockades, disease, and military violence.

All this death and suffering is entirely man-made, and it is entirely the fault of the US-centralized power alliance ...

The US, UK, France, Australia, and Canada.

I’ve been tripping harder and harder the last few days on how insane and immoral it is that we’re not talking about that constantly.

"Joe Biden Said He's Against the Yemen War. He Needs To End It on Day One.", Sarah Lazare of In These Times argues that Biden is fully capable of ending the war in Yemen immediately upon taking office, and due to his role in the Obama administration when the war began, he has a special responsibility to do so.

The butchery in Yemen should be ended. Immediately.

Guess it will become the active thread in Politics now, eh.
Russiagate will magically morph into Chinagate.

And of course the only winners of this nonsense will be the spies and cold warriors who are driving it all from behind the scenes.chinagate.pngTucker Carlson will become the new Rachel Maddow.

I'm quite happy to see Biden win the office.
Doesn't take much to make you happy ... cheers to a president who will serve as an empty vessel for whatever the US war machine wants to pour into him. Let the mass murdering begin anew ... EH Man?
