I am provoked to think about how far from traditional human socialization and learning I am willing to go.

What does being human mean as technology rapidly changes our relationship with the world around us?

Fodder for daydreams.

Agentic AI is poised to revolutionize how humans work, live, and interact with technology.

The progress made so far suggests that humans are on the verge of a world where autonomous, decision-making robots will become a regular part of our daily lives.

Doesn't Al have slaves and servers too? Strait line logic no branches and trees ... stemological without the epiζ ... snaky ... de venation ... as vines can choke ...

It gets beyond the norm ...

They might be autonomous and independent decision makers but they will have boundaries for that decision making.

The AI agents I've heard about so far are basically just smart macro generators. You give them a plain language prompt for something you want to happen and then they do it. "Play my entire record collection in alphabetical order by album title" "Find all my stories about gay men and put them in a folder called 'Gay Porn'" "Search Google for information on Donald Trump's latest executive order" and so on. Basically, make your computer behave smarter and make it better able to do what you want without you having to learn to program. The ultimate in "low code, no code" development. In principle, I support the idea but the devil, as always, will be in the details of how it is implemented.

Alternately; Aye see that going ... that was a thought willed out ... infrequently observed thus obscure particles like boson ...

I'm more with such peeps as the Luddites and Amish etc on this score

Also this tech is coming aboot with the wrong incentives

(Too much freedom???)

I love Rudy Rucker's view, that of people owning whatever tech and taking it apart and hackin it

I am also cognizant of the pro$it motive and the need to control a populace...cf. China gov't and Russia gov't and Global Surveillance and Britain insane new laws where one can get visited by the police for an innocent social media post...

Satan is laughing!

Trust in God
Amen

I wonder if Charlie Rose of Kindred and Canada's Quantum Mechanical computer still wants to make conscious robots?

I still find that horrifying...

All things require as prerequisite ... a sense of restriction and respect of what was buried ... it could be badly taken ...

Consider the peculiarities ... rabbi 'd pills?

Regarding AI ... when you consider who we elect ... does it appear we desire unthinking machines? So it goes un thunque ... as Thor as it can be ...

One has to enter the Dark Kingdom of pure desire to experience the lights going out ... Borge? Can light poke a hole there?

Thus pokey Mon ...

Nose it out there has got to be a stinking thought there somewhere! Hams

I remember laughing at them for the longest time because the tech obviously was not as presented...either portrayed in ideal conditions, animated, etc

I am always open to other views

I saw another interview recently where the person went through why AI isn't an existential threat...

I rather like the idea of treating them like children, and we have a very long history of being good at that :3

PET scans can draw out deep activity ... yet the pious will not accept it for fear of what would be laid bare ...
