TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

what makes you so sure that's real? That's just some guy. Also, the way he was "dealt with" so gruesomely was as extreme as ISIS. Why did the Saudis at first not admit to killing him? They did it in the back room of an embassy! And I can't even type the details of what they did because it's too gruesome.

I'm busy tuning skis for my daughter's race tomorrow. Can I ask someone to run a Google image search on Faris' images and look up the claims? Quickly, I'll point out that the image of the guy with the gun is Jamal's uncle, Adnan Khashoggi. I don't have time to debunk this completely and overhaul two pairs of race skis tonight. Have to leave early in the morning.

It is nice that we get attention from the Saudis, though! Say hello to your bumbling warlords for us, Faris.

Wonder what we have to do to get attention from the Russians?

Timur Kuran, a Middle East specialist at Duke University, noted, on Twitter, “The ‘fake news’ narrative is now being used by repressive regimes all over the world to discredit legitimate journalism, shut down debate, criminalize questioning, and cover up crimes.”

What do you mean what makes me sure that's real? Are you going to tell me about my own people? The Saudis not admitting the killing was because they didn't have the facts at first. Those who did that horrible crime tried to cover it up by handing the authority false information. They played with the surveillance systems and so on. It was not until the Saudis dispatched an investigation team that they discovered the man was brutally killed. Just like how some of the US intelligence officers treated prisoners in Iraq during the invasion. The US admin approved what they did? No. It was an abuse of authority by some members in the intelligence.

LOL....man you got schooled. It was Jamal not his uncle. Good luck with the race.

We get plenty of attention from them. We just don't want the attention they're sending. If a Russian who ISN'T a spammer is reading this, please sign up.

We'd love some Russian propaganda down here. Would be a nice change of pace from unsafe's Christian propaganda.

Where did you learn your put downs? Is there some pamphlet or something?

What were your options? Was "pwned" in the list?

We’re all just people here on WC2.

I don’t believe the right wing narrative on just about everything these days. I especially don’t believe the Fox News narrative - it’s been Trump’s own propaganda arm. But there are a few here who do.

I'm open to hearing intelligent points about what a person likes about Trump. When insults are involved, my interest vanishes. Proper discussion does not involve insults.

I’ve given up believing there are any intelligent points about what anyone likes about Trump. There aren’t any, and it was obvious by the time he was elected that there aren’t any, except that he’s a good entertainer and grifter. He’s a terrible world leader. People who like him are brainwashed by an alternate universe of facts. They will never stop liking him if they still do...those are the people who will support him no matter how corrupt he is. There is no way to converse with people living in alternate reality - because we can’t even agree on what facts are.

While I stay natural when it comes Trump as it doesn't really concern me but what makes you think he is a terrible world leader when millions upon millions voted for him!

They were misled. They were either misled into looking for scapegoats for their economic woes by blaming immigrants and blacks and Muslims, etc. - by Trump raising the spectre of hate and xenophobia that lurked under the surface (which he began preparing their minds for with the racist birther campaign against Obama), or they were misled with lies - he’s a compulsive liar - or they were misled by targeted propaganda and all the “red pill” alt right garbage...in any case they were misled.

Well, considerably fewer than for his opponent, but that's obviously a flaw in the U.S. electoral system that concerns neither you, nor me.

My view of him is reflected in the faces of most of the other world leaders upon having to interact with him. "There's dog-s**t on my shoe" seems to be the most common facial expression.

I would say yes most Saudis have positive view about him. Plus he is a businessman and that's what matters the most to the Saudis, money and business.
Is it a positive view because of his intellignce or his stupidity?

Do you want the list in alphabetical or chronological order? You seriously have to have your head an improbable distance up your colon to not know the reasons.

What you may think, is that the good outweighs the bad. Even the good, I would argue, is not good.

Found out I have to do a third pair of skis tonight. Grrrr.

On a satirical level, Trump is funny. He's the most hilarious president the US has ever had. I've laughed so hard tears are streaming down my face because it's all so absurd sometimes. He's a gift to late night tv hosts.

On a substantive level, there's nothing funny about him.

He's not even a good "businessman" - he bankrupted businesses with the nest egg his father gave him. He has a long string of failed ventures. The Apprentice was a rebranding effort and I guess it worked on his followers who live in TV land.
