No, it's not to discuss turkeys and football. It's the thread where we can be thankful for whatever we are feeling thankful for. Keep it simple and friendly. And it's in R&F because giving thanks is, or should be, a spiritual (but not necessarily religious) thing.

I am thankful for Wondercafe2 and the power of online community.

Thankful for this place and the support you all offer when times are rough.
Thankful for my nephews and that I was able to see them as often as I could when my sister was on leave (although sad that's over).
Thankful for my meds even though they can be frustrating at times, and also thankful for the improvements in my health that I've experienced.

Hi,

There is much to be grateful for. Too much to express in a few phrases. Among them is our family experience over the past few month’s. A serious stroke laid our mother low. There was little indication of any meaningful recovery. We drew close to her bedside and marvelled at the resilience of her spirit. She has had us all chuckling with insightful and witty comments all along the way.

Sitting with her yesterday we began singing together. For almost an hour she joined her voice in old gospel favourites. In between we chatted about music as medicine in suffering of all kinds.

While chatting mum shared a few words of gratitude. She thanked God for the peace in her soul and that she still had the ability to move one hand and turn her head a fair measure. I was grateful for the love and early age mentoring of this remarkable person.

I don't know where to start with thankfulness. Maybe I will just say - I am thankful that there as always been an adequate supply of food and shelter in my life. So many don't have that.

I am also exceedingly grateful that I chose to migrate to Canada rather than the US.

Thankful for the vast field (pastoral) of things to learn ... given what little we know ...

There are oppositions to this by folk that believe they know eternal spaces as domains they suffer avarice with ... incontinence? It can often be read wrong as knowledge is released in a flying flash ... no chad or chit!

Thus the need for turdunk'n .. an ugly bird ... cross between chick, turkey and strange items ... perhaps resembling the Daies of con duren ... condors and renauld!

Strange words fly between thin pages of time altered memories ... thus elder grasp eM beta ...

Thanks God for a complex fabric of lies and myths to allow financial un doings so that an ethereal few could be successful!

And we are free to believe the bits (chit) or not ... some private inquiry may be helpful in the diggings ... tis like a question:

Such contortions appear normal or ordinary un-virtue! Nin-Jah ... now if Jah is the hand of God what do the nins do to it ...

Thank you for the word NIN ... which can vary from 9 inch nails, grandmothers ... or music that can act as God ... thus the grandmother's dsssss ng from deep space ... sometimes referred to as white noise for all we know about alien intelligence and dark political activity! Some say it represents 4 degrees absolute ... thus 3 and the other coming forth as a stange muse ... fitting in with the 9 Muses of Greek archetype!

The 3 parts of the Moiria can put a disjunction there ... paralleling Eris as dissonance! If dealing with a young lady with good connections to mother god and grandmother god ... be worried about the MOG ... a biblical frettin base ...

Chi's older than the beauty of dauvid ... dauphin in the dark meer ... for a dunk in ... returning to the surface from time to times as it goes round!

I'm thankful for having everything I need in a world where not everybody has this privilege.
I'm thankful for my family, friends and my wife.
I'm also thankful for having found this forum :) even if I've been away lately (too busy).
Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for my church family really, often, being my real family.

I am thankful for my ex-in-laws, who so kindly keep me included in their family, and with whom I will spend Thanksgiving this year.

I am thankful for this lovely little community of souls we have in this cafe place, and the warmth of the Room for All, and the chattiness of the Last Post Thread.

Wishing a blessed Thanksgiving to all.

As you can probably tell from my frequent posts in the music threads, I am thankful for music. I am thankful for the human ability to make and appreciate it and I am thankful for and to all of the people who share their musical gifts with the world, whether they are writing music or performing it or both. There have been many times when music has kept me going. May even have saved my life on occasion.

I am thankful for the many ways I feel and felt led and supported by the Spirit over the years and the many faith communities I have known.

I am thankful for my life partner and glad that she was able to go to London and Paris at this time with her sister -- a trip she much needed.

I am thankful for being able to work with plants and being able to enjoy their fruits. Our carrots this year are incredibly sweet and delicious.

I am thankful for the many opportunities I had and have to use my talents to make a difference.

I am thankful for WC2, even though I have become an irregular visitor, and the sense of being part of a special family. Whether we are nice to each other or not, it does feel like family.

Just popping in quickly with another bit of thankfulness (admittedly with a bit of attached sarcasm). Tonight I am thankful that we got the winter tyres on the car a couple of days ago. I will give more thanks tomorrow when I get to see the FB photos from friends who have kids/grandkids who built snowmen.

Celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday.
I am thankful for the most simplest of things that bring so much happiness to me.
Everyone arrived around 12:30 and I took the three youngest grandchildren along with one of my sons to an adventure farm for a a couple hours. The olde ones thought it was too lame and stayed behind with the others. We watched pumpkins blast from canons out into a field, pig and duck races, walked through corn mazes and many other things. The laughter and excitement was glorious.
Upon our return, the food, which had been prepared the night before was being warmed up and we all gathered around the Thanksgiving table. I have to give thanks for dining room tables.....the joy and the laughter that emitted from the conversations was priceless! The sharing of food really does bring out a lovely form of togetherness......I found myself smiling inside as I observed my children and grandchildren sharing stories.....I felt content.
I sincerely hope everyone here will find themselves sharing their Thanksgiving with those that bring them joy, whether it's a crowd or even just one person, relative or not.....gather in joy and peace or find someone that needs the joy you can bring.
