Are you meaning the after life is also conflicted?

There is a great deal of conflict over afterlife ... being out of life may be the only rest ... becoming an outside observer? The gods love activity in the arena ... and the demons keep pushing it back up in their faces. One must face it as ultimate wisdom ... still a bit sketchy from the real point of perspective ...

Some believe life carries on in your children with some semblance of us remaining in those that survive and carry on ... god's infantry? Some take it lightly ... others not!

Look up at the night sky and see the entire thing take a turn. Causes enigmas in the conflict of flat out 2D and sphere of 3D ... with deeps?
  • Width
  • Length
  • Thickness
  • Time
  • Light
Suppose there's another dimension that is dark as the hated intellect given we don't wish to know bad news ... like commoners in communication? Does panic and fear prevent communion? Then the bellowing occurs ... canaan and bulls of religious sorts ... especially when examining the ambiguity of Hebrew for the words wisdom ... further chaos! De ath and chaquah ... the translations vary! Transliteration makes for extended stories about broader NDE's! Even Einstein was baffled by the expansion of time and its machinations ...

Stopping by on my way out of the MAID thread, falling into a soft recliner putting my feet up reaching for a coffee.
I have been reading the perfect book that explains why the discussion there doesn’t go aywhere.
Unfortunately, we are not done fighting.

This might be an excellent book for a book study here.

Good morning. I've just started looking in here and have seen some great discussions already. The coffee is delicious. I haven't had maple snow in a while. Thanks. Delicious.

It is not an easy read. Actually, it is and it isn‘t . It is fairly easy written, but I find myself going back to reread parts and you can’t read too many chapters in a row. After I was two chapters in, I decided to buy three more books to have the oportunity for others in our meeting to read it before we donate them to the library. Matthew is coming to NS in May.

I think it would be great for a book study, but how many people here would be interested?
The e book is not that expensive. It gave me great insight about some ”mechanisms” at WC2 as well.

Is it a book we can address chapter by chapter? Conflict is certainly a timely topic whatever the resource.

Yes, we could. It also has some practical exercises at the end of each chapter for groups, some include role play. Not possible here but interesting to read. I am hoping to participate in May in his workshop.

Mrs. anteater, this sounds like an excellent book for a book study. I would certainly be interested.
Would you be interested in setting up one? If you are able to do so, I would be glad to help in anyway I could.

I will definitely participate.

I would if we get a few more to be interested in. Matthew is coming to Atlantic Friends gathering on the Victoria long weekend. He is also supposed to come for two workshops after that ( while he is here in the Maritimes), one in Halifax and one in Amherst(?). If you are interested , I could keep you updated. Maybe you would even like to invite him to Fredricton if you come to like the book. There is a quaker meeting in Fredricton.

I accidentally gave my copy of "God Can't" away, right after I read it. So I didn't feel very equipped to continue commenting on it. I remember Pinga became less involved here right after that and wondered if something about the study bothered her. (I went through a book giving away frenzy awhile back; now I'm back to book hoarding!)

I bought the Kindle edition so nothing really to give away in my case. It should be there if I just set up the Kindle app again.

Not sure. She never said anything. Chemgal reported in October that Pinga's father had passed so perhaps there were family reasons.

Good morning, all! The beverage cart stands ready. Maybe some doughnuts or bagels will mysteriously appear.

Is bag dhell all in a dural sac or in the indelible mind confined to a dural saac? Sagittarius as sage ...

I'm told by some tyrants that there is no such thing as psyche ... as the organ of intelligence is that an impossible projection ... or just a shot in the dark ... like the Yo' Semite persona? Thus I must be a curiously absent attribute to the norm ...

Tis something that will be de ath (occipital) of Meis or a phoqah stir ... screw up in the immortal zone or just the backside of the recesses??

Reversed tunnel vision when the aye of the mind pops up! Imagine double vision and how it can mess up the flat out ...

@revjohn - hoping you all are safe out there - sounds like there is a hurricane but with snow instead of rain in NL!

Thanks.

We were never in any danger.

That we were aware of.

I have cleared much, much, very much snow.

Tried for 2.5 hours just after the storm hit to clear it. Heavy snow at 107 kmph gusting to 150 kmph makes that a very difficult task.

Was up at 5:30 Friday trying to clear again. Snowfall of 76 cm is difficult to move when the intake on your snowblower is 60 cm at best.

And then there were drifts.

I almost made it out to the road by Friday evening. Plows were still in the barns. We had one cut up Red Cliff road so if we needed an ambulance the could get into the house.

Saturday and Sunday allowed me to spend lots of time outdoors cleaning up the last bits of our driveway.

Just as I was finishing up Sunday evening the next wave of snow arrived. 15cm - 20cm was predicted. Then we got a warm snap and snow turned to rain.

I got out again this morning to clear it before it froze.

Stores are closed and while Logy Bay is not in a State of Emergency our one convenience store is gutted of milk and bread.

Some restrictions were lifted for Sunday. Gas Stations and Pharmacies were allowed to open. Finding a gas station that wasn't restricting gas to plows and emergency vehicles was a wonderful distraction.

Our convenience store may have been gutted of booze yesterday. I'm certain folk from St. John's came out to stock up on more booze. With snow clogged roads it took 15 minutes to get passed the store and cars were lined up on the shoulder for a 1/2 km both ways.

Qball had fun out in the snow.

Daisy is having a blast in the snow.

I am tired of blowing snow.

There have been a few tragedies. At least two house fires with fire crews unable to reach the homes. Three dead in one. Nobody hurt in the other.

Somebody in Portugal Cove had a baby skate (the fish not a baby's skate) blown into their yard and they were 2 km from the ocean.

We recorded one gust of 236 kmph at the airport (I'm guessing) and a tracking buoy outside of St. John's harbour recorded a 10+ m wave.

So all told, it has been a nasty storm.

Worst for combined weather since 1942. Worst for a single day snowfall in this part of the province.
