Good morning, all! Coffee and tea (and sympathy for pains, sores. and bruises) are available.

This is as good a time and place as any to let y'all know I'll be moving to a new pastoral charge at the end of August; two churches a bit south of Grand Bend. I've been able to find an apartment about 30 minutes away. Looking forward to it.

Congrats, hope you find a happy place there.
No need to pack anything up on WC2, just push the cart into the little storage room.

Congratulations Red. Don't forget your sunscreen. Some of my reddest sunburns were at The Bend. All the best in your new charge.

It's a sunny day here so far. Perfect for a market visit.

Best of luck with the new charge. No harm in being close to Huron this time of year but could be less fun come winter.

Ahh ... new adventure awaits you Redbaron - thanks for sharing your news. Hope you enjoy your new home, and new communities of faith. Are they town or rural churches? I do love the Lake Huron sunsets & storms :)

I just got a library card for the Vancouver Island Regional Library. I was delighted to learn Acorn TV is part of the services you can access. Bonus. I'm watching a movie with Michael Cain called Last Love now.

Back from a nice bike ride. Rode downtown to buy tea from my FLTS (friendly local tea store). Unfortunately, I messed up Strava by forgetting to restart it when I left Covent Garden Market so I can only estimate my actual kilometers at around 17-18, maybe even a bit more. I've exercised 6 out of the last seven days which may be a record for me. Usually I have at least a couple down nights in a week. That breaks down to two long walks, two bike rides, and two runs on my stationary bike (on evenings when the weather either sucked or threatened to do so). I may be in the best shape I have been in in a few years. Even topped a steep hill I usually have trouble with.

I went with a friend to the south shore to an art labyrinth, which was absolutely a-mazing. Will recommend it to all the visitors I am getting this year.

Spent a nice day down at our family shore property on St. Joe Island yesterday. My husband and I are the two who keep up the place and use it most regularly. Because we had been away, it got a little unkempt looking. So we mowed, raked, and my husband re-filled the frog pond with water pumped from the lake. He also planted a couple of plants and shooed some fawns away from the little garden he is trying to grow down there. I worked a little, but also read, slept....and went for my first swim of the year. I should call it a dip, not really a swim. After the day, I told my husband: Now I feel complete! That's what time at that place does for me. My slice of heaven on earth.

Good morning! The coffee cart is ready and willing! Hot beverages are not available. Someone has also brought in some doughnut, too! Enjoy.

Well, that's what the microwave is for.
Though, to be fair, might be time to start a new pot.

I'll take hot coffee please. Did the pot get made, or shall I do it?

That's the advantage of being a tea drinker. Just put the kettle on and pour the hot water.:giggle:

Did not sleep well last night so feeling less than great today. May finally take a break from exercise but we will see how I am this evening.
