If look over on the left side, you'll notice an ad or notice of some kind for "D. S. Bowlby, MD". I'm directly descended from him via my paternal grandmother.

And held other offices, too. Reeve or something like that. His brother was a Crown Attorney. Both of them are in the Waterloo County Hall of Fame.I noticed your ancestor was also the local coroner.
People on and off the wagon Ares ...Oh, Annapolis Valley has at least 10 wineries. We actually have a double decker bus going round stopping at everyone of them as a wekend winery tour, hop on and off.
Jae would drum hell out of that as he is determinate about not going back that far ... tis not in his book!I would include images from the North Shore of Lake Superior.
I love travelling across and in Canada.
There are things which are unique to Canada. Is great to sit around a campfire in a Canadian national park, and have a "voyaguer" led drama and singalong.
Go canoeing (or rafting) on the Grand River. Simple and easy canoeing can be arranged.
Go to drumheller for dinosaurs and to experience the hikes.
We think the Rockies are pretty impressive, but they may not, but, go to the west coast and get on ferries and travel to Salt Spring Island, or head over to tofino
Hey Mendalla - any chance you're related to Carol Bowlby Sifton - OT & noted contributor to dementia care & research ... one of those 'long shots' I know!If look over on the left side, you'll notice an ad or notice of some kind for "D. Not sure. We got the Bowlby part of the family tree through Grandad and the info in the hall of fame. I really only know my line well. I don't know much about other branches of the Bowlbys.Hey Mendalla - any chance you're related to Carol Bowlby Sifton - OT & noted contributor to dementia care & research ... one of those 'long shots' I know!
Done. Check out "Our Family Trees" posted in Social... Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion! What's this Bowlby business? No ads on my w/c page.
If you want to explore common ancestors perhaps start a thread on it!
Looks interesting. Is there much sugar?View attachment 2089
I found candied Atlandic salmon and having it for supper.
Would you rent a van with them, or car trip with hotels?
We saw quite a few rental RVs and campers on our travels in the US, esp. on the Blue Ridge last year. Not CanaDream, of course, but same concept. I priced out getting one for three weeks and it's similar to a 7 day cruise minus the flight to the port. So not bad. Unfortunately, we'd have to get to Toronto, their nearest location or find another company that's closer. We've seen a lot of CanaDream RVs on the road. My husband was excited once to see one with Ontario plates in our BC campground. I told him they were probably from Germany. I was right. Those RVs are really popular among German and European travellers. We've also met people from South Africa in them. You'll need to reserve early to make sure you get one.
It was with maple sirup. Rather oily and a bit sweet. I think I stick to savory in the future.Looks interesting. Is there much sugar?
