Netflix & Streaming Services

Both Netflix and Amazon Prime work on multiple IP addresses for me.
Have you noticed any type of limitation with it for multiple people?
Chemguy's siblings used to use his parents passwords for all of it, they didn't pay for any streaming. I was never a big one for sharing, but I cancelled Crave a while ago, was going to start it back up for Handmaid's tale but my sister encouraged me to just use hers.
Streaming is starting to become like cable - paying for every 'channel' but now it's separate services. With that way that's going I'm in full support of a family group - each of us pays for one or 2.

With Crave now we do limit it as I know they only allowed so many devices on it, and every time my browser had an update that counted as a new device (although it's easy enough to kick off devices and then readd). I just figure since it's not my account, we'll keep it to one here, so if Chemguy wants to watch something on it, he does so from my computer (which we can connect to our tv screens).

With Prime, I've noticed that you can only listen to Amazon Music on one device at a time.

The only difference I've seen between Prime and Netflix in terms of video is that Netflix lets you set up separate lists for different people on a single account. So we pay for one account, but my wife, my daughter and I can set up our own "to watch" list. On Prime you can have a "to watch" list - but only one so all three of us are jumbled together.

For what it's worth, I'd say that overall Netflix has better movies, but Prime has some very good series.

I’m not a fan of prime. We’ve searched shows on it and they appear as if they are available. We try selecting them and it turns out they are part of another subscription? Don’t show me shows I can’t watch with the service I’m already paying for!

I'm watching The Family on Netflix right now. Shades of Handmaid's Tale.

The Family
This stuff was (maybe not the fine details, but the confluence of cultish church n’ state and lobbied interests serving money and power in Washington) was known to be going on (at least) since the early 80s, around the Reagan/ Bush Sr. eras. We knew the right wing evangelical higher-ups had huge influence. Still, it’s eerily fascinating and the whole story seems surreal when told. I’m glued to it.

Goes back to the 50s. I believe some people got sucked in who were well intentioned...but it has a powerful reach and an authoritarian/ fascist bent. All orchestrated by a quiet guy named Doug.

Holy crap ... fecundity with voids? That's the gas ... sometimes said to have fugal nature ... fugacity?

Few undertake to understand as it is hypo*thetical ... can spin off hype-Eire folk ... steamed?

I thought it was interesting, but with the beginning I thought it was going to be way more of a cultish thing. Some of the details were a bit surprising, but to me it just came down to powerful religious people rubbing shoulders with politicians, no big surprise there.

I agree. Still, there is the question of how much influence they have on policy, etc.

Eve Ange Lists ... all tilde and bent out of shape!

Horse shaw'd U's! Appreciate the chaos unreasonable domains bring down on us!

“ Inside Bills brain” on Netflix- Documentary about Bill Gates. Interesting to watch for those WCs who were discussing motivation of rich people when they spend money on charities. What striked me- but is not surprising as you follow along Bills story, that his Foundation and his goals are not emotionally driven, but by the rational wish and drive to have identified a ( world) problem and wanting to solve it. As he tried with eradicating polio. It is/ was a challenge for a super smart person. He is not getting too emotionally involved. Worth watching.

When emotions and super smarts are balanced ... expect a person with hidden low esteem to create negative feedback and label it positronic ...

Imagine a person believing they have the greatest of minds ... finding out they know little about great things!

Feedback is a backup power on the alternate's Idee ... these are buried as relief psyches! Hidden pearls ... out there in the field!

Cyclic process that disturbs those that see it all as straight protocall ... legitimately or not depends on what is altruistically known in a world built on lie ... flat out? Then there is that curved geometry!

Watching the three parts, I had to think a bit about the tower of Babel- he wanted to eradicate polio, bring sanitation to the third world and help with climate change by inventing "safe" nuclear power plants. It seemed that his tower crumbled at the end. However, at least he tried.

There are some things unattainable in a world based on lies ... and politically thinking may put one out there on an impossible Plankt System ... which has a constant all of it sown! Spatial ???? That's abstract ... all that's left when the absolute corruption is free to do its will! hus that sinking feeling during dark escape ... a dream hole of support ... thus the postings!
