WEM had submarines, huge waterpark with wave pool and slides (like 20+) indoor rides-like the loop de loop roller coaster, minigolf and many stores . I think it no longer has dolphins but the rest is still there.
As for affordability locals could get passes to waterpark or rides at various places ie AMA, Scots for a discount and then there were fundraisers-pool admission and burger for $20 for &-11pm and such.

They had to change the name, it's Galaxy Land, not Fantasy Land. The rides match that. Stars all over the place, the train goes through tunnels with cute martian like creatures.
The wave park still gets busy (haven't been personally in decades, but have observed a little bit while waiting for someone). As far as I know that has no connection to the Galaxy theme.
The hotel still has the themed rooms, the marine life shows still go on, including the Seal Lions shows which can be watched for free as long as one doesn't want a seat. Mini golf, bowling and ice skating are all still available. Katelyn Osmond has done some events there.
There's newer things too, an Escape Room, I think the Jubilations (dinner theatre) location is new-ish compared to other things, not sure when Jubilations started in general though (at least 10 years old)
I think the bar/restaurant area still goes by Bourbon Street. It has a comedy club and I think that's where the popular Bubba Gump Shrimp is located, but I haven't been.
They also now have one of the Rec Rooms associated with Cineplex theatres. Haven't seen it there, so it might be a separate building, but still part of the property.
About 50 dollars for adults, 45 dollars for children.

Oooh, escape room- did you hear the news that five girls died in Poland when a fire broke out in the entrance room of an escape room? Just the thought of being locked into a room would keep me from trying this.

I think so - but I'm not entirely sure. It's a better rate than Canada's Wonderland.
