Have you watched any of these before?
It's a show done for Spike, but most of them are on youtube, although the entire episode is rarely there. Many of the shows have the format of 2 competitors, each does a basic lip sync, low on props and then they each perform their showier one - backup dancers, props, sometimes special guests included. Youtube often just shows the latter, and sometimes each competitor is a separate video.
There's a fair bit of gender bending performances (is that term still used? I don't see it much anymore), some for laughs and some I would say not.
My favourites:
Anne Hathaway (one of the earlier ones, really got the word out about the show)
Joseph Gordon Levitt
Channing Tatum
And the two I think are the best (tied, I can pick between them) - both gender benders.
Jenna Dewan (Tatum, she was married at the time and competing against her husband, I think she won between them hands down)
Tom Holland
Other ones worth watching but not for the talent -
Stephen Merchant (it can't be unseen!)
Josh Gad & his competitor Kaley Cuoco does a decent job too, so worth watching both but if I include Kaley as a favourite there are so many others I would have to include. Amber Tamblyn similar idea to Josh Gad.
What are your favourites? Any good ones that you think I missed?
