Girl body shamed at church

Some people are strange; I don't get them, they don't get me.

My general criteria is "are private bits covered?" It goes up from there.

I bet she would not have liked Jesus' dusty feet & sweaty clothing as he wandered the holy land!

She probably struggled to accept my 'casual' style just as much as I struggled to accept her 'prissiness'. We are so affected by our childhoods, and even those who have made efforts to decide for themselves what they like and think, sometimes still fall into the ways taught in childhood. I am sure she meant well and didn't need me to tell her that the road to a certain place is paved with good intentions!

I'm curious to know what she would wear to go on a hike.

I don't think she was into hiking/camping etc.. and probably didn't own boots and cargo pants for lugging spare lenses! What bothered me was her assumption that she could criticize my clothing choices when I accepted her choices.
