"Jesus answered, and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to thee, but a man be born again, he may not see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith to him, How may a man be born, when he is old? whether he may enter again into his mother's womb, and be born again? Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to thee, but a man be born again of water, and of the Holy Ghost, he may not enter into the kingdom of God." - John 3:3-5 (WYC).

What does it mean to be "born again?"

What are the indications that someone is "born again?"

If you believe that you are "born again" - how did you become so?

Might "born from above" be a better term to use than "born again?"

Immagine seeing the light again after being kept in the dark by powers with the commission of telling the common folk that they didn't need to know ... thus the tree of forgetfulness as a log ? It fell ... root of pagan light ... common evolution of wisdom from beyond the astute points of pious stickiness?

The myth continues to evolve ... it goes on because of the Prodigal Father being out of it ... Methyl Use-ah bi!

Could be a blast of the other kind! The thought took High Flight ... in literature!

Dearly departed ...

I'm thinking right now of all the mothers who gave birth to unappreciative little jerks who later decided the initial birth wasn't enough.

"Born again" isn't a birth. It's a a rite of passage into a cult. If you claim "born again" status, you're just advertising that you are a member of a cult and looking to recruit more cult members. A ''born again" who announces their cult member status in a group is generally about as welcome as a real estate agent. No matter how friendly either are, you are always wondering if they are only playing nice because they have something they are desperate to sell you.

Are cults free or are there loyalty feys ... as ephraim? Thus the ousting of souls ... Oui Jah ...

Coming from a liberal background and outlook, I have always seen "born again" less literally, more about faith or some other force transforming and renewing one's life than some kind of magical thing. As such, it need not be limited to a Christian or even religious context, though it seems to work best there.

I don't think I have had a "born again" experience myself. Even my move to UU was more of an extension of a gradual process than a sudden transformation. I didn't change so much as I found a more suitable place for who I already was.

Acts 1:4-8 you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now

John 20:22 And with that He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit.

There are positive and negative forces ... some rising and the other humbling ... some don't believe in one or the other and thus one halve collapses ... bringing on narrow visions of eternalism! Some declare it as Phoenix Hole ... Dante's Aspiration of warm brestive wends ... that crank in the night?

Yes blackbelt, and so your point is... what? Being baptized with the Spirit is the same as being born again?

Imagine being awash with visions in all degrees of magnitude ... mind boggles?

Some would never accept that ...

I meant - what's your best theological argument against their stance. However, I think you knew that.

if your looking for a formal leading up the event of Spiritual rebirth, you won't get one from me, other than me stating that a Spiritual rebirth is a real event, the How to for each individual belongs to God.

be back in a few hrs , off to Martial arts

Is martial arts part of the mirage of gentile connections?

Powerful point from casting of Jude Anne ... with Rome's lost sentimentalism? Love brutally ... thus the bashin ...

anagennáō (from 303 /aná, "up, again," which intensifies 1080 /gennáō, "give birth") – properly, born-again or "born from on high."

313 /anagennáō ("born again, from above") is used twice in the NT (1 Pet 1:3,23) – both times referring to God regenerating a believer (giving a supernatural, new birth).

[313 (anagennáō) "does not occur in classical or Septuagintal Greek. Any use elsewhere (i.e. outside the NT) is disputed (cf. Moulton-Milligan; Selwyn, First Epistle of St. Peter, 122)" (CBL). This underlines the importance of its two occasions in the NT (1 Pet 1:3,23).]

ἀναγεννάω, (ῶ; to produce again, beget again, beget anew; metaphorically: τινα, thoroughly to change the mind of one, so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God,
