A choir came to the lodge last night and we sang Christmas music. It was awesome. It was some people from a local United Church and a community choir, led by Louise Rose. I had not heard of her. She's an amazing musician who has studied under people like Oscar Peterson. The choir invited us to join them at the pub after. Three of us did. It was a very enjoyable evening.
Good for lifting spirits ... a non-thing that may deny as AErie ... my grandfather said the nothing was love ... that lacking sensation that can cause reality to fall rite intuit! Tis a psyche misty sensation ... some powers greedily gather this departed non-thing ... in lew of the options ... negative spirits as thought?
Are you now reiked or just wrecked about the treatments? Be careful of energy and power ... it is spent when the guise falls off the roof!

I'm blissed out
Now that the paper is out of my hair, I'm able to start on some Christmas presents/packages at LAST!

I was offered a reiki treatment today; should probably have taken her up on it. Very short of time and chiro in place Monday. Peace labyrinth construction this weekend. I stress over this time of year, and the more I struggle, the more I stress.

Wow - I looked her up - she does sound like quite an extraordinary human! So glad you enjoyed the evening Northwind. Being a chorister yourself I imagine you have even a greater appreciation of choral music well performed.

had to put the candle out as it was a mini inferno...should have put out sooner I guess as the lead crystal divided candy dish it was on shattered when the candle went out...quite the mess to clean up

We've used it under our candles for DECADES with no trouble...this candle was a decorative one in a tin - don't usually burn those kind...I have 4 more so will need to find something else to put under to protect the table.
I switched to fake candles long ago, but realize now they are the dreaded "plastic"....do they make fake candles out of something eco friendly?

Good question for which I have no answer. The UU fellowship was discussing going that route for the Chalice and even the candles of joy and concern but it hadn't happened as of my last visit.

I have one that is "supposed" to be ecofriendly as it's mostly wax with just the plastic insert in the centre column for the fake flame and battery compartment part - still a lot of plastic in it.

I'm home after a week at the cancer lodge while I got my first five radiation treatments. The week at the lodge was wonderful and I met some great people. A few of them will be good friends. I am somewhat overwhelmed and exhausted after having to face a real world that has too many people.
