Sales are slow today...another neighbour just mowed the lawn...I picked cherries and am pitting them so I can freeze them - 4 cups are done.

Tomorrow I have a table at a fabric and craft supply ale. The work has been going through stuff I am ready to move on to someone else. It is letting go of hopes and plans-as I bought it to create with- But the reality is that won't happen. The stuff is mostly stuff I moved with me from Edmonton in 2011. My goal-to cover the cost of the table $20 and to have less stuff here in this house. Proceeds from the table rentals are going to the foodbank.

Wifi hub battery is swelling :( I have had it barely a year (if that) and am too far from a Bell store to just run in and get it looked at

I'm not doing so well. Had a really bad throat attack yesterday, scared me pretty bad when I woke up. Haven't felt well ever since, throat feels raw. Wondering if I have a cold or something, although if that's the case it's mostly just hitting my throat.

Chemguy is out in the garden for me today. Pulling out a bunch of plants. Some peas went past the stage where they taste good, although got a decent amount of fresh ones earlier. We don't bother freezing them, those are some of the things he is pulling now - they are by the squash and I think he's going to go prune off a bunch of the little squash, we did some of that earlier. Broccoli crosses are in pots, those are going too. They long since bolted, after a few harvests, we left the tall flowers out for the bees for a while, but the pots were only getting watered by the rain for quite a well, so they are dry now.

He's finding some interesting stuff - 3 bees sleeping in a flower - 1 bumblebee and I think 2 are squash bees. He's seen his 2nd tussock caterpillar. I haven't seen them before, suggests to me I should be a little more careful as my legs do often brush up against the plants when out there I I suspect I would react fairly strongly to one. I tend to be more aware of all the little creatures out there than he is though.

Hope you feel better soon @ChemGal

My melons are "just" flowering so I doubt I'll get anything on them...cucumbers flowered a while ago so there is a very slim chance I might get some small ones yet - I wasn't too worried about getting lots as I'd planted the wrong kind (according to mom when I had told her what seeds I had)...I really need to get out and start pulling carrots and potatoes - different type of carrot this year (mom's seeds, I didn't have to buy any)...I pulled a few onions this morning - gave half to the next door neighbour. Dreaming about what I'll do different next year.

Different is somewhat strange and not all that well accepted by the status quo! Thus the same thing goes on HO-spit-ally as a shot in the dark ... black sabbath! It is a Dei when unknowns encroach!

Cold symptoms are starting to show up, so at least I know what the trigger was - besides exercising and working earlier this week which just added to the overall exertion.
